A Prayer of Praise

I praise you Lord, for you are a magnificent God. You created the heavens and the earth, yet find the time to be concerned about my everyday problems, large and small.

I praise you Lord for taking care of every detail. The world you created is to beautiful and purposeful, the sunny days, sunsets, stars, moon, flowers, and birds. I am so glad that “your thoughts and ways are higher than my thoughts and ways, as far as the heavens are from the earth.”

I praise you Lord, for your knowledge which is greater than the sands on the beach. At the right time, you have sent people to encourage and uplift me, to keep me from drowning in frustration and loneliness. Your timing is so perfect.

I praise you Lord, for your infinite wisdom which is matchless. Without you to lead, guide, and mold me as I travel the pathways of life, I do not know what I would do.

I praise you Lord, for the ultimate show of your love for me, through sending your Son, Jesus Christ. When I invited Jesus to come into my life, to be the Lord of my life, a wonderful change came over me.

Now I can look forward to spending eternity with you – to meet you face to face. Just to behold your face Lord, gives me hope for tomorrow. I praise you Lord.
